System Operation
How the GuardCell system operates
A GuardCell receiver is installed at the customer premises — on an automatic gate, side gate or security door.
A keypad sits in the security company's reaction vehicle. The officer enters a valid access code, the keypad transmits the request to the receiver, and the gate opens. From there, access can work in one of three modes — choose what fits each site.
Credit-based access
Officers draw on allocated access credits, giving you a measurable, auditable way to control how access is consumed.
Vehicle-paired access
Access is tied to a specific vehicle, so entry is accountable to a known unit operating in a known area.
One-time PIN
Issue a single-use PIN for once-off access — ideal for exceptions without compromising your standing setup.
